Former Steeler Great Wants to Be Remember as a Steeler
Joey Porter, the all pro linebacker who played for three different teams, wants to be remembered as a Pittsburgh Steeler. Porter anchored the defense during the 2005 Superbowl win over the Seattle Seahawks and was known not only for his great play on the field, but also his pre-game challenges to opposing players before the game.
It appears that many former players want to retire as a Steeler, even after they have been traded away to other teams – must be something good that players really like about Pittsburgh!
