The Steelers were waiting to see how Max Starks recovered from ACL surgery earlier this year. The 6’8″, 345 lb Starks came to the
Steelers in 2004 as a second round draft pick. He has had a great career but injuries have plagued the last couple of season.
Last year, Starks came back to the Steelers after not being on the team. His impact was felt immediately as he protected Ben’s blind side.
